At Del Carmen Island is still conserved the vestiges of what was the largest Salt mine around the world.
From Loreto, you can reach this Island in a boat trip for around 2 hours. When you get there, you can figure it out a magic old town. Watching a lighthoyse an a sunken ship.
You could walk and discover what was the Salt Bay, its buildings built on the basis of coral, the school, the church and different houses whose still project ancient objects preserved during almost 50 years.

Rubio Sportfishing is not allowed to provide transportation from the Airport to the Resort of vicee-versa. However, we can give you information about different way of transportation at town.
We are willing to provide transportation from the Resort to the Darsena and vice-versa (hotels at town), if the hotel give us permission.
We are not allowed to provide transportation from Hotel Villa del Palmar and Loreto Bay.
Even so, we can pick you up from Loreto Bay using the boats.
